Teenagers are encouraged to achieve success by managing potential within themselves. Throughout the period of self exploration, the teenagers try various new experiences which support the process of manifesting self potential into various competencies. The students success in achieving competence, skills and good attitudes is influenced by self-efficacy. The students who are in school must be able to do academic tasks so that the students can have efficacy and be able to achieve good achievements. One of the counselor efforts to help the students improve their academic self-efficacy is to implement the psychodrama group guidance technique. Group guidance is the provision of assistance to individuals to become better individuals in groups. The psychodrama technique is one of the therapeutic approaches by acting out drama as a therapy to deal with various problems faced by the counselee, by acting out a drama which aims at reducing conflict and tension, even it can solve the faced problem. By conducting a psychodrama group guidance activity, the students could express all the faced events especially on academic self-efficacy so that by providing a creative psychodrama group guidance technique could enhance a sense of academic self efficacy and achieve better performance.
