Author Guidelines

Full paper sent to the editors of proceedings of International Student Conference of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought (ISCUSHITH) must follow the technical provisions as:

  1. Articles are written in Indonesian, English, and Arabic standards which are the result of research or conceptual writing in various scopes of proceedings of International Student Conference of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought (ISCUSHITH). Article must be explain with IMRAD model.
  2. Abstracts are written in English with a total of 250-300 words; in each abstract comes with keywords not more than 5 words.
  3. The article is the work authentic and has not been published in the journal or scientific publications else.
  4. Articles written in the font Garamond 12pt, spaced 1.15, on A4 paper with a total of 3,000-5,000 words or 10-12 pages and margin 3 cm at all the side of page. Articles must be submitted not later than submission deadline.
  5. The name of the author does not need to include an academic degree, position, or rank and is accompanied by a correspondence address, email address and or telephone number.
  6. Writing articles in the proceedings of International Student Conference of Ushuluddin and Islamic Thought (ISCUSHITH) using the Arabic-Indonesian transliteration guidelines.
  7. References in the article using footnotes with due regard to the specificity of the references referenced, such as books, translation books, volume / volume books, anthology books, articles in anthologies, articles in journals, articles in encyclopedias, articles on websites (internet), articles in mass media (magazines or newspapers), theses, theses, dissertations, or scriptures that are adjusted to the instructions.
  8. The references use a tool such as Mendeley or Zotero for reference management with Chicago Manual of Style (full note).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The text is free from plagiarism and other copyright infringement.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another conference for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
