Abstract
The development of information and communication technology has driven changes in the field of education, including the implementation of the Education Management Information System (EMIS) application, launched by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. EMIS is a management information system developed by the Ministry to facilitate the management of data for madrasas and other religious educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to explore the optimization of EMIS usage at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah (MDT) in Sukamaju Village. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and case study method, the study identifies challenges in EMIS management, such as a lack of education, limited equipment, and insufficient training, and evaluates the effectiveness of optimization efforts, including outreach and mentoring provided by university students through community service programs. The findings show that outreach and intensive mentoring efforts have improved the understanding and skills of madrasa operators in managing educational data, although infrastructure challenges still need to be addressed to support more effective data management
