Pada tahun 2009 Dewan Syariah Nasional Majelis Ulama Indonesia (DSN-MUI) mengeluarkan fatwa terkait MLM, yaitu fatwa No. 75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 tentang Penjualan Langsung Berjenjang Syariah (PLBS). Fatwa ini menjelaskan tentang PLBS atau MLM Syariah mulai dari pengertian, dan ketentuan-ketentuan yang menjadikan diperbolehkannya praktik MLM tersebut. Penelitian yang dilakukan oleh penulis merupakan metode penelitian yuridis-normatif untuk mengkaji Fatwa DSN-MUI No.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 tentang Penjualan langsung Berjenjang Syariah mengenai Multi Level Marketing dengan pendekatan Manhaji. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) yaitu dengan teknik studi dokumen dan studi literatur. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mempelajari Fatwa DSN-MUI, buku-buku, artikel jurnal serta literatur lainnya yang memiliki keterkaitan dengan analisis Fatwa DSN-MUI No.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2099 tentang Penjualan Langsung Berjenjang Syariah. Adapun teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif analisis. Teknik deskriptif analisis yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis data primer mengenai Fatwa DSN-MUI no.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 tentang Penjualan Langsung Berjenjang Syariah dengan pendekatan Manhaji. Dalam penelitian ini analisis fatwa DSN-MUI No.75/VII/2009 tentang penjualan langsung berjenjang syariah memberikan pedoman mengenai praktik Multi Level. Multi level Marketing boleh dilakukan apabila memenuhi ketentuan umum yang 12 dalam fatwa DSN-MUI No.75 DSN-MUI No75/VII/2009 tentang pedoman penjualan langsung berjenjang syariah.
[In 2009 the National Sharia Council of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI) issued a fatwa related to MLM, namely fatwa No. 75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 concerning Sharia Tiered Direct Selling (PLBS). This fatwa explains about PLBS or Sharia MLM starting from the understanding, and the provisions that make the MLM practice permissible. The research conducted by the author is a juridical-normative research method to examine the DSN-MUI Fatwa No.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 concerning Sharia Tiered Direct Selling regarding Multi Level Marketing with the Manhaji approach. The data collection technique in this research is library research, namely document study and literature study. Data collection in this study was carried out by studying the DSN-MUI Fatwa, books, journal articles and other literature that had links with the DSN-MUI Fatwa analysis No.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2099 concerning Sharia Tiered Direct Selling. As for the analysis technique in this study, the author uses descriptive analysis analysis techniques. Descriptive analysis technique that aims to analyze primary data regarding the Fatwa of DSN-MUI no.75 DSN-MUI/VII/2009 concerning Sharia Tiered Direct Selling with the Manhaji approach. In this study, the analysis of the DSN-MUI fatwa No.75/VII/2009 regarding direct selling with sharia tiers provides guidance on Multi-Level practices. Multi-level marketing may be carried out if it fulfills the general provisions contained in the DSN-MUI fatwa No.75 DSN-MUI No75/VII/2009 concerning guidelines for direct selling with sharia tiers.]
