Ulama Perempuan NU: Legitimasi Ning Imaz dalam Dakwah Online

Abstract

This research discusses the authority of Nahdlatul Ulamawomen scholars in conducting religious da’wah. This research focuses on NU netizens in utilizing their gadgets as a source of religious information. How is the authority of female clerics, especially Ning Imaz, in occupying the stage of religious preaching and how netizens respond to Ning Imaz in online preaching contestation. This research is not the first research, but many have discussed the authority of women scholars in religion. But previous research focused more on gender and women’s leadership, while my research focuses on how NU netizens recognize Ning Imaz as an NU female cleric. This research is a literature research by simultaneously analyzing netizencomments,so that from the many comments that provide an understanding to the author whether the netizen gives recognition to the title of Ulama to Ning Imaz or not
