Pemikiran Tasawuf Sosial Habib Husein Ja’far Al-Hadar terhadap Era Globalisasi

Abstract

In the era of globalization, human life has become easy, but this can give birth to a generationthat is selfish, hostile, consumptive, wasteful and has an instant mentality. One solution to overcome low morals in this era is by applying the values of Sufism. This researchwas conducted to find out more about social Sufism in the thoughts of current millennial figures, namely Habib Ja'far Husein Al-Hadar. Several programs and podcasts on Youtubedelivered by Habib Ja'far became the object of this research. This research is a type of writing that uses a character study approach in qualitative research with library research,and the technique analysis descriptive content. In collecting data, the technique used by the author is to collect data with digital and printed documentation related to the theme ofsocial Sufism. The Jeda Nulis channel and the LogIn program are digital documentation,while Habib Ja'far's books are printed documentation. The results of this research are that the application of social Sufism values in this era is very important, to create people who are ritually and socially pious. There are six values of social Sufism found from thethoughts of Husein Ja’far Al-Hadar, namely a simple lifestyle (minimalism), good thinking (husnudzan), humility, moderation, harmonious living, and friendship. These six attitudes are the solutions Sufism offers to avoid wasteful, su’uzhan, arrogant, hostile, selfish and individualist attitudes.
