Numeracy competence as one of the domains of mathematics can solve daily problems and the context of
realistic problems provides students with ease in learning numeracy. This is in line with competency-based
learning is focused on integrating knowledge, skills, and attitudes in education and creating a more
authentic learning environment that leads to improving the quality of education. This article describes how
the implementation of numeracy literacy in SDN Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. The
speakers were the principal, representatives of upper and lower grade teachers at SDN 03, SDN 07 and
SDN 08, Kwandang District, North Gorontalo Regency. The study used source triangulation and member
checks. The results of the research were obtained (1) numeracy literacy-oriented learning activities were
carried out by planning (media, learning materials, and implementation), the implementation was carried
out face-to-face and independently, control through supervision and reflection activities. (2) the
implementation of numeracy literacy programs through the development of a text-rich environment, the
development of the social-emotional environment and the development of the academic environment in
schools have not been optimal.
