Abstract
This research aims to identify challenges and strategies in Islamic banking innovation. This research is descriptive qualitative research. Research funds were collected through interviews conducted with Islamic banking practitioners and academics. The results show that challenges of digital innovation include Customer data security, Digital Banking regulations, Availability of digital infrastructure and HR capabilities in digital matters. Some of the strategies offered are Data Security and Privacy strategy, Government support in digital banking, Improving Digital Infrastructure and Strengthening Islamic Banking HR through digital training activities.
