Etnoparenting Di Masa Sekarang: Menggali Model Pengasuhan Tradisional Etnis Melayu Sambas

Abstract

This study aims to find and analyze the parenting model of sasak tribe in Lombok This article is based on the results of in-depth research on ethnoparenting conducted by ethnic Malay Sambas.  This paper uses qualitative desriptive research using the Sociology of Education approach. The data source obtained based on the results of interviews and in-depth observations on the ethnic Malay community of Sambas. The data was obtained through observations and interviews to Sambas ethnic Malay parents, Sambas researchers and Sambas culturalists. This article discusses how ethnoparenting practices in Sambas an area located in West Kalimantan province.  The application of parenting carried out through a culture embraced and gradually long among them show teaching, abstinence, campaigning and traditions carried out from an early childhood
