Penguatan Nilai Karakter Anak Usia Dini Dalam Tokoh Wayang Bawor

Abstract

Entering the digital era, the value of children's character becomes a fundamental thing for early childhood to be able to stem the negative impact of the flow of technology and globalization. Strengthening the character values ??of early childhood in the current era is a hope for educators, especially parents. The task of parents is to educate, care for, accompany children until they grow and develop optimally. The purpose of this study is to explore the idea of ??reflecting the value of the character of the Bawor puppet character to children. Wayang Bawor as an icon of the Banyumas people. The research method used is qualitative-contextual research. The data collection technique is in the form of documents as data sources such as journals, articles, news, videos, quotes, and others. The data were then analyzed by sorting the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. the results of the study of the character values ??of the Bawor puppet characters: (1) the value of honesty in children, (2) the value of children's independence, (3) the value of patience, (4) the value of simple children. The four character values ??presented in the Wayang Bawor story that dance from the form and nature that make children fascinated by the Wayang Bawor. The attitude of the child becomes enthusiastic so that they can imitate the habits of the values ??of the Bawor wayang characters.
