Abstract
The Aboge community of Cikakak Village of Banyumas Regency is famous for its wealth and traditions that are still being practiced. The literary literary cultivation of these beliefs and traditions is carried out for generations by elders or ancestors to the next generation since childhood through the process of parenting. The purpose of this study is to find out the process of early childhood parenting of the Aboge Community of Cikakak Village of Banyumas Regency. This type of research is field research. In data collection, researchers used in-person interview techniques on parents. The analysis techniques used by researchers start from data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study show that the principle pitutur leluhur or the word of the previous person in early childhood care is indicated by still believed and applied in the daily life of parents in parenting by teaching oral traditions in the form of advice on abstinence and oral advice. The way of parenting is done with a hard and firm parental attitude, giving affection, habituation or habituation, and giving advice. From the way and teaching of oral traditions taught by parents in early childhood, it is concluded that the parenting applied by parents is a mixed parenting that is authoritarian and democratic.
