Analisis Penerapan Pola Asuh Orangtua di Gereja Protestan Maluku (GPM) Klasis Masohi, Kabupaten Maluku Tengah

Abstract

The Maluku people are known to have harsh characteristics and this has an impact on the parenting pattern applied to their children. This study aims to analyze parenting patterns in the Maluku Klasis Masohi Protestant Church. The method used in this study is mixed, in which parenting data were collected quantitatively through filling out a questionnaire. To deepen the data related to parenting, the researchers conducted in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that 86% of respondents applied democratic parenting. Democratic parenting is applied in the form of positive parenting to answer the situation and condition of today's children who are in the millennial era.
