Solidaritas Sosial Organisasi Penyandang Disabilitas sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Kabupaten Klaten yang Inklusi

Abstract

Islam teaches mutual tolerance with others to anyone, including people with disabilities. People with disabilities are one of the  groups that sometimes still experience discrimination by the views of society. However, with this, this disability group becomes united to fight this view or stigma, solidarity can be built between people with disabilities. This article was processed using a descriptive qualitative method with Emil Durkheim's understanding of the theory of social solidarity and its relation to Islam. Then it describes the social solidarity formed from the group of people with disabilities in Klaten Regency which became an organization to fight for the development of inclusive Klaten Regency. Solidarity is well formed, various solidarity activities between people with disabilities are carried out such as regular gatherings, joint training, mutual compensation and activities carried out for Klaten Regency such as audiences, campaigns to policy design. The hope is that there will be a wider solidarity not only for people with disabilities but the whole community to have a strong social solidarity complementing each other and achieving an inclusive Klaten.
