Abstract

Various methods are used so that literature can be reached by everyone, including those who are blind. Through technology that is increasingly developing at this time, literature is processed into a form of audiobooks (sound books) so that it can be enjoyed by blind people. So, the presence of Difalitera is a breath of fresh air for blind people to be able to enjoy a variety of literature. Difalitera presents literature in children's story models, short stories, short stories, poems, fairy tales and also English lessons for the visually impaired. This study was conducted to find out how literature is processed into an audiobook so that it can be enjoyed by blind people. This field research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, through in-depth interviews from Difalitera's founders and 5 people with Difalitera connoisseurs who are determined based on purposive sampling, the results of the study show that literature plays an important role for visually impaired persons in recognizing literacy. Literature is one form of literacy that is easily understood and understood by everyone and can go with the times. From the research conducted, the presence of Difalitera can provide knowledge to blind people in this millennial era. The development of Difalitera is not limited to literature, but also in other fields of scholarship.

Beragam cara digunakan agar sastra dapat dijangkau oleh semua orang, termasuk bagi tunanetra. Melalui teknologi yang semakin berkembang saat ini, sastra diolah menjadi bentuk audiobook (buku suara) agar dapat dinikmati oleh tunanetra. Maka, hadirnya Difalitera menjadi angin segar bagi tunanetra untuk dapat menikmati ragam sastra. Difalitera menyajikan sastra dalam model cerita anak, cerkak, cerpen, puisi, dongeng dan juga english lesson bagi tunanetra. Studi ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana sastra diolah menjadi audiobook agar bisa dinikmati oleh tunanetra. Penelitian lapangan ini (field research) menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, melalui wawancara mendalam (in depth interview) dari pendiri Difalitera dan 5 tunanetra penikmat Difalitera yang ditentukan berdasarkan purposive sampling hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa sastra berperan penting untuk tunanetra dalam mengenal literasi. Sastra menjadi salah satu bentuk literasi yang mudah dipahami dan dimengerti oleh semua orang serta dapat mengikuti zaman. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, hadirnya Difalitera dapat memberikan pengetahuan kepada tunanetra di era milenial ini. Perkembangan Difalitera juga tidak terbatas pada sastra, tapi juga pada bidang keilmuan lainnya.
