USTAD VIRTUAL: POLA DAKWAH KEKINIAN DI ERA MILINEAL

Abstract

In this millennial era, communication uses more via technology-based communication media. Communication that is formed is unnatural because communication and interaction between humans and humans is not direct so that there is minimal emotional attachment even though communication via telecommunications media, expressions of feelings can be represented by emoticon icons. Technology is considered capable of being a medium that facilitates communication channels, especially in religious broadcasting when Before technology was used as a medium to facilitate human activities, the broadcast of da'wah was still simple in nature with face-to-face meetings in places of worship and community gatherings. However, it is different at this time, da'wah can be heard anytime and anywhere without the need for the presence of real religious leaders, through communication media such as yutube or other virtual communication channels. This virtual cleric figure has become a new trend and is easier to go viral than the ustad who are not published on social media or other multimedia-based media. The presence of a virtual cleric in his preaching, not only communication patterns, missionary missions which are becoming a trend, even fashion that is used in the spotlight of the masses becomes social framing which is done intentionally or unintentionally is a new pattern in the world of preaching today. In fact, not infrequently the contents of the da'wah do not only contain studies of the verses of the Qur'an but on things that are viral. This research uses qualitative methods with literature review and is supported by the results of interviews with 50 people who are then analyzed descriptively in reviewing the results of research.
