Abstract

al-Mahfudzat or aphorisms in Arabic is one of the subjects taught in several Islamic boarding schools, especially in modern Islamic boarding schools. The words are simple, beautiful, and motivating, making mahfudzat an opportunity to enrich Arabic vocabulary. Not only in Islamic boarding schools, but in the modern era like now, mahfudzat often appears on several social media. There are even hundreds of accounts whose entire content is in the form of mahfudzat. His followers also reach tens to hundreds of thousands. This shows that mahfudzat has its own place in a social media society. Therefore this study seeks to describe mahfudzat-based maharah al kitabah learning with experiential learning strategies. This research is expected to be a reference for learning innovations in the modern era, which are almost all digital-based. This research is a qualitative research type of literature study. Sources of data are used from books, journal articles, magazines, and other relevant references. The results of this study indicate the steps of mahfudzat-based maharah al kitabah learning with experiential learning strategies in the modern era with the CEROACCE pattern (Concrete Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization, and Active Experimental).
