This paper will explain an Arabic language learning application that is designed by applying linguistic theories to a computational system. This application emerged as an answer to the challenges of the digital era which is developing very rapidly in various fields including education. This application applies the grammar rules of traditional Arabic and tagmemics. The traditional Arabic theory is used by the system to identify verbs from the input sentence and determine the type of verb, while the tagmemic theory is used by the system to break down the verb-forming components. The results of applying these linguistic theories make this application able to distinguish between perfective, imperfection, and imperative verbs and elaborate its constituent elements in the form of basic morphemes and bound morphemes with different affixes according to the type of verb. Verb-forming morphemes are assigned to their respective tagmemes. This application is also equipped with a verb translation feature and a description of the use of affixes according to the type of verb used in the input sentence. By opening all the features available on the system, users will get information on conjugative changes in verbs and related elements such as tense, aspect, person, number, and gender.
