Abstract

This study aims to find out how the application of Nahwu Snakes Ladders Board media increases student learning motivation in the Matriculation program held by Darussalam Gontor University. Monotonous teaching methods, especially in Nahwu learning, cause students to become bored and less enthusiastic about participating in the teaching and learning process in class. This qualitative research uses a descriptive approach to explore the application of the Nahwu Snakes Ladder Board in the Nahwu learning process. This research collects and analyzes data through observation and oral and written means. The research focuses on the learning process of Nahwu using this snake ladder board. The goal is to increase student motivation, increase understanding of Nahwu, and increase active participation. The conclusion is that the Nahwu Snakes Ladder Board Game is an effective and interesting tool in Nahwu education and has been proven to foster a dynamic learning environment. This learning medium increases student motivation, improves student understanding, and encourages active participation in the learning process
