The Role of the Environment in the Activities of Muhadatsah Santri Modern Islamic Boarding School Roudlotur Ridwan Sekampung

Language is the best means of communication for humans because it conveys thoughts and feelings. It is impossible to differentiate between language and humans. Because it is a human need concerning other people. The environment is one of the factors that influences human development. Recently, there has been criticism and correction of the teaching system and way of learning Arabic, especially for teachers and because of students' laziness. Arabic at the Roudlotur Ridwan Modern Islamic Boarding School is used as an everyday language, and this is important because to acquire and master language skills, it is trained regularly and in a planned manner so that it forms a habit. The research aims to determine the relationship and environmental impact of the activities of the Muhadasah Santri at the Roudlotur Ridwan Islamic Boarding School, Sekampung, East Lampung. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and an in-depth study of documents. The informants that the researchers studied were caregivers, teachers, and students. After the researcher analyzed the theory from Stephon D. Karsn and Yunus made observations and collected various data, it can be concluded that no matter how important and influential the role of the environment is on santri madrasah activities, all components must be fulfilled properly to create good muhadasah activities.
