RESEPSI MASYARAKAT TERHADAP TEKS AL-QUR`AN PADA BATU NISAN MAKAM KERAMAT TUJUH DAN KERAMAT SEMBILAN KETAPANG

Abstract

 This paper describes the results of a study in the Living Qur'an on verses on the tombstones of the Sacred Tomb. The author tries to reveal how the text of the Qur'an becomes an interpretation of people's beliefs, enthusiasm, and motivation. The author presents the public's reception of the inscription of the Qur'anic verses contained on the tombstones of the Seven Sacred Tomb and the Nine Sacred Tomb of Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan. This research can also be a contribution to the Living Qur'an which so far only revolves around and is centered on the text. Inscriptions of pieces of the Qur'anic verses found on tombstones are contained in Q.S Ali Imran verse 185, Q.S al Anbiya verse 35, Q.S Al Ankabut verse 57. The inscription of verses on tombstones is one of the bases for people's interpretations which implies motivation, belief and enthusiastic. The author uses the living Quran method with the theory of public reception as a phenomenon. The type of research conducted is field research (Field research) with data from observations, interviews and documentation,discussion or analysis is with an explanatory description. It is concluded that the community's interpretation of the verse inscriptions on tombstones has implications for motivation, rites, warnings and reminders, symbols and even signs of God's greatness.
