Figuring out Messengers

Abstract

To preach is supposed to be peacefully delivered. However, the current social media eventually comes to hate speech, compulsive truth claim, and consistent contra opinions against the opposite. Indeed, those are different from the preaching methods which were taught by the messengers. They delivered in peace and ethics as how Quran has described. This research is a library research with synthetic analytical approach. The object of the research is the preaching stories of the messengers on Quran, which are Nuh, Ibrahim, Luth, and Moses since the methods by those messengers were implemented in the society with relatively different background so that can be relevant with the current context. Therefore, the research is to more deeply find out how the preaching methods which are developed by the messengers. Through understanding of the preaching methods implemented by the messengers described on Quran, more relevant preaching models with current social media era are possibly considered. The preaching methods developed by the messengers hold peaceful messages to spread and to strongly hold the morality values in preaching.
