Abstract

Socio-cultural changes in the XXI century, took place so quickly and massively. Society behavior in various field of life has undergone changes and adjustments in line with the demands of the times that have entered in the 4.0 generation of industrial revolution. The unchangeable behavior system in society, slow but sure, it will be abandoned by the present and future generations. This is the demand for the disruptive era.

If all aspects of human life are required to adjust and changing to this time, what about the aspects of divinity that are believed as the basis of people's behavior so far? Will God be adapted by humans along with the times? If the answer is yes, is the disruptive era demanding all aspects of divinity; His immanence and transcendence must also be adjusted? What is the concept of the changes and adaptations? Is the phenomenon of people who are less eager to follow religious teachings, caused by the symptoms of the disruptive era? How is the godly concept? And how should society respond to their belief in God, so they can be in line with the development of the 4.0 industrial revolution?

This paper will try to find answers to the questions above, by referring to current socio-cultural phenomena, and then trying to build godly methodological concepts in accordance with the spirit of the disruptive era so that godly beliefs will be maintained and sustainable. Thus this paper generally describes the fate of God in the disruptive era which also maps the challenges of Islamic theologians and Muslim philosophers in formulating theological concepts that are in accordance with the demands of the development of the disruptive era.
