Winning for Islam Rahmah Discourse: Critical Study on A Book Entitled Islam Rahmatan Li al-Alamin by Felix Siaw and Hafidz Abdurrahman

Abstract

The discourse of Islam Rahmatan li al-Alamin becomes a big part to consider as the representative of Islam that is ideal and responsive toward all problem aspects especially in context of diverse life. Though undeniably it happens what it is called as authority effort.  It is signed by the emergence of a book entitled Islam Rahmatan Li al-Alamin written by Felix Siauw and Hafidz Abdurrahman. The wanted question to be answered is then: How do both writers narrate Islam in the book and why they choose it? By employing the analytical approach of critical discourse, the finding shows that narration of Islam rahmah being delivered by both writers cannot be apart from a khilafah ideology; an identity of Islam
