Abstract

The issue of hate speech in Indonesia has been escalating along with the present of freedom of speech resulted from the starting of a new phase called reformation and of the process of political and social modernization in the post New Era. The reformation era and the process of modernization give a way to the emerge of actions, discourse and visions that embrace violence, intolerance and anti-plurality including the hate speech.
