Ijtihad Maqashidi and Its Influence to apply Quranic Text

Abstract

Applying the Quran in human life must be accompanied by understanding and knowledge of the maqashid (purpose) itself. Understanding of this is very necessary so that the application of the Quran is truly in accordance and in harmony with the noble purpose of the Quran revealed. Therefore, in understanding the text, you must understand the wisdom of Tasyri '(wisdom of establishing a law). This wisdom is the main goal (ghayah) of the law itself. And, is the main obligation that must be done for a mujtahid in applying the Qur'anic text. Putting aside this method (mura'atul maqashid) by not looking at reality is the same as breaking down the maqshad (purpose) of the Qur'anic text itself. This article discusses the influence of Maqashid on the application of the Qur'anic text, whether in applying the Qur'anic text in mere textual life, without trying to find a purpose (maqshad) Shari '(lawmaker - Allah) when applying it and without wanting to explore the wisdom of Tasyri- his. Or, in applying the text in reality that is in harmony with ghayah and maqshad. In this study, we discussed the definition of ijtihad, maqashid, and the intent of ijtihad maqashidi and its urgency in applying the Quranic text. Then explained about the applicative example of ijtihad maqashidi in applying the Qur'anic text, and also applied examples that show the orientation of the jurists' related to the main maqshad that must be considered when applying the Qur'anic text.
