Discourse on Errors in Understanding the Hadith of Women

Abstract

In this paper explaining women's inexhaustible leadership becomes the material discussed. Many parties who only understand a text both the Qur'an and the hadith from a textual point of view are related to the opinions of the parties stating that women's leadership is prohibited without looking at the contextual side. History records, some women who have contributed to public office and success in leadership for example are the queen of Balqis and other women who have contributed to leadership. Understanding the meaning of a hadith about women's leadership needs to be studied more deeply like the hadith of the Prophet who forbade women to lead a nation. The topic in this paper is about the discourse of error in interpreting women's leadership hadith a critical review of the hadith of bukhori history number 4425 which states that a people will not prosper if they give up leadership to women. some people swallow the hadith raw without digging further about the asbabul wurud and the purpose of the words of the Prophet himself. The results of this paper are to explain the true meaning of the hadith through the hadb wurud of hadith which then explains that the Messenger of Allah forbade a policy to be fully given to women without any men who were part of his leadership. Then, to get a progressive and comprehensive understanding of the errors in the meaning of hadith, linguistic analysis will be carried out to determine the results of this paper. Therefore, in this case, the author feels that this article is important to answer the mistake of the meaning of the hadith above by some people for today and for the future.
