Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Rabbani method in memorizing Nazdhom Al-Jurumiyah at the Rabbany Tahfiz Qur'an Islamic Boarding School in Pekanbaru. Al-Jurumiyah is a basic book in the science of nahwu which is usually taught in Islamic boarding schools. Memorizing Nazdhom Al-Jurumiyah can help students understand the structure of the Arabic language better. In addition, Nazdhom contains main keywords. studying the science of tools is very rich. The Rabbani method applied in this boarding school emphasizes a memorization approach with a combination of special techniques that have been adjusted to the needs of students in studying nahwu. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Rabbani method has succeeded in improving students' abilities in memorizing and understanding Nazdhom Al-Jurumiyah in a short time and according to a predetermined schedule, as well as accelerating the process of mastering basic Arabic. The use of this method also provides additional motivation to students, so that the learning process becomes more interesting and effective.
