Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the application of positive psychology approaches in Arabic language learning through a library research method. Positive psychology, which emphasizes enhancing positive individual aspects such as motivation, happiness, and meaningfulness, is considered relevant for improving the effectiveness of Arabic learning, especially for non-native speakers. The methodology involves critical analysis of recent literature, including books, journal articles, and research reports discussing the implementation of positive psychology in language education. The primary tools used in this study are document review and content analysis. The findings reveal that incorporating elements of positive psychology, such as providing constructive feedback, using intrinsic reward strategies, and creating a supportive learning environment, enhances learning motivation, engagement, and outcomes in Arabic language acquisition. Moreover, this approach effectively addresses psychological barriers such as anxiety and low self-confidence commonly experienced by foreign language learners. The study concludes that positive psychology holds significant potential for integration into Arabic language curriculum design and teaching methods. It also provides practical recommendations for educators and curriculum developers to optimize Arabic language learning using positive psychology-based approaches.
