Abstract

Although religious radicalism is relatively new phenomenon in Indonesia which has stricken the country in the last 15 years, it is now such a huge challenge. Many efforts have been initiated and implemented by a number of institutions to deal with the problem. Since last five years, CISForm, a study center at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta has been engaged in the mainstreaming moderate Islam program mainly in Yogyakarta and Surakarta as part of Countering Violence & Extremism (CVE) agenda.
