STUDI KELOMPOK MINORITAS KEAGAMAAN SAPTO DARMO DAN BAHA

Abstract

This article describes the change in the meaning of minority, specifically for religious groups that are considered minorities in Indonesia. So far, religious minorities have been stigmatized as a minority group and have been persecuted and even discriminated against. The subject of this research is the Sapto Darmo and Baha'i religious groups in Yogyakarta, during the pandemic these groups also experienced conditions felt by the general public in facing the Covid 19 pandemic. This study will analyze in depth the concepts and characteristics of minority groups with the reality what happened to Sapto Darmo and Baha'i during the Covid 19 pandemic. The conclusions in this study are as follows: first, the existence of the covid 19 pandemic strengthens human values ??for all community groups including minority groups. Second, human values ??are the main cause of blurring the meaning of "minority" during the covid 19 pandemic. Third, the meaning of minority can return to its initial meaning when the pandemic ends.
